Excellent food and even better excellent service. They were closed for a while and recently reopened. The food is fresh and delicious and has a beautiful ambiance. Just had lunch and already thinking about my next visit.
Recently had a Sunday lunch. The food was delicious, good portion size, both Chinese and Japanese Cuisine. You are able to mix and match off the menu. The service was excellent. We had a lovely server who was attentive and very pleasant. The dining room has plenty of space and we had a window with a view.The price of the meal was very fair. Already planning our next dining experience at Lotus.
Waited a long time for this restaurant to reopen . Tried so many other restaurants and were so disappointed. Then, Lotus reopened! Their food is incredible! Best Chinese food hands down! Highly recommend this restaurant !
Soup dumplings,steamed pork dumplings crazy roll ,mama Mia roll, spring rolls and desert ... OMG Rainbow cookies spring roll with cannoli dip! Exquisite! I cannot explain or express how blown I am away how delicious the food is here all reasonable. Clean + friendly. I highly recommend. I am definitely a foodie if you're in farmingdale this is a must ... don't just go to Main Street .. lol Stay on Hempstead Turnpike. (Conklin st)

Finally returned after their renovation, the place looks beautiful, clean, and inviting. The service was great. We had Nick L serving us, and he and the rest of the staff couldn't have been nicer. Now let's talk about the food, we started with a wonton soup, Taiwanese Popcorn Chicken, and Rock Shrimp, which was followed by Mongolian Steak and Eggplant and Shrimp with a Garlic Sauce. Everything was delicious. Am happy they have finally returned to serve the community, which they have served for about 30 years
Food and service above and beyond! The hostess was accommodating and more than efficient. The food was hot and the sushi was fresh! Order the Mamma Mia roll or the Alaska Beauty roll. The Singapore mei fun was really good. The eggroll were crispy and very tasty. . Missed this place during its renovation. So happy they are back. They are back better than I remember. The ambiance is very modern and it fits with the renovations.
The long awaited reopening of Lotus Restaurant revealed a beautifully remodeled. There is a large fully stocked bar with two large screen TV as well as a sushi making station where you can view the many offerings. The menu was pretty extensive with a large selection of sushi, traditional Chinese entrees and small plates for sharing. We had Hibachi Steak & Shrimp also the Hibachi Chicken & Shrimp. Both very good as was the Pork fried rice. The Fried Wontons were also a good choice. We did go during the soft opening and they weren't fully staffed yet so the service was a bit slow. A little pricey given the portion size but the food was very good.
